Pasquale H. "Patsy" Scopa

SCOPA, Pasquale H. "Patsy"  In East Boston, peacefully on January 22, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte (Forg) Scopa.  Father of Evelyn (Petrivelli) Portrait and her husband George of Lynn.

Grandfather of Keith Portrait and his wife Amy of Salem, George Portrait and his fiancee Tiziana Stuto of Lynn, Evan Portrait and his wife Julie Ebba of Haverhill.  Great-grandfather of Lucas John  and Liliana Portrait.

Brother of the late Paul Scopa and Eleanor Fabiano. Patsy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be held in the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston on Thursday morning, January 29, 10 - 11 AM.  Followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock.  Relatives and friends are invited.

Interment with Military Honors will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 2 PM.

Veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean Conflict.

Patsy was a grocery manager in several local supermarkets for many years.  After his retirement, he worked part-time at Sacred Heart Parish as a facilities manager and was well known at the weekly Bingo nights.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the Winthrop PACE Program, 26 Sturgis St., Winthrop, MA 02152 would be greatly appreciated.
